Good thing it's not for PC, otherwise it could put you in trouble.

Weren't you saying you felt a bit under the weather the other day? I think so. You should take the day off.

True story - I've played all the GT games since they came out - (although I didn't play much of GT4 for some reason) - anyway, I saw the front page posting about GT6 and I thought, oh yeah, I just built an awesome setup for my kids using 2 used Mustang seats and two steering wheels to race next to each other...and then I thought...wait, do I have GT5 or GT6?
Did I somehow totally miss that there was a new version of Gran Turismo coming out? Yup. Because I have 3 kids...
Long story short - just went to Amazon.com - it will be here on Monday. I'm getting old.

My kids don't really like the wheel/chair setup I built. I cant figure out why, but it may be because there is no way to do 2-player. I've considered a second wheel setup but I always thought I'd want to do 2 consoles and 2 screens and play on the network.... Maybe you're on to something though.

My wife is supposed to pick up my birthday present on her way home today. I've already seen the gamestop receipt. 3.5 hours until I change back into a 17 year old kid and drink 4 gallons of mountain dew and stay up all night playing GT6. My poor wife doesn't know what she's done.

It's the "Design Vision" concept car. 503hp and a supposed 186mph top speed.

That is the VW Design Vision GTI Concept. It was their Wörthersee show car over the summer, then they brought it to LA last month. Then they brought it to a parking lot in LA for us to drive.
SPOILER ALERT: 500-hp, twin-turbo VR6, AWD VW one-off show cars are fun. And they sound like the end of days.

Hey thanks - I haven't bolted the seats into the floor yet (it is in a slightly raised area of my garage that I was using for parts/tool storage) but those seats will be bolted in, seatbelts added and I will wire them up to 12V for power adjustment. The driver side is a G27 complete with 6-spd shift and clutch - the right side is a cheaper Logitec ffb wheel - but it makes these kind of games a special treat for the kids....and it was a "surprise" for the wife. The TV is also mounted on a hinged door so that it can swing out for general man-cave use.

Completely drool worthy. It's an R32 on steroids.

Safety Faust, amiright? Curtain rod is better than nothing...but future upgrades are in order. The littlest one isn't allowed up there without dedicated adult pit crew.

Luckily I live 1.5 miles from my job. I've already got 30 solid minutes of Honda Fit time...1200mb patch before you can play :)
